A qualification examination was held to assign the qualification of a forensic expert

In accordance with Article 21 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Forensic Expert Activity” and the Rules for conducting examinations for awarding the qualification of a forensic expert, approved by Order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 30, 2017 No. 335 (hereinafter referred to as the Rules), a qualification exam for awarding the qualification of a forensic expert was held on September 29-30, 2020 at the RSE “Center for Forensic Examinations of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. Due to the tense epidemic situation of coronavirus infection (CAVID-19) in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the exam was held in the ZOOM video conference format. According to the changes made to the Rules, the testing audience is provided with an audio and video surveillance system.According to the results of the exam, 13 experts were awarded the qualification of a forensic expert for the right to conduct forensic examinations.
