In Almaty, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan met with representatives of law enforcement agencies
On March 25, Kanat Musin met with representatives of law enforcement agencies in Almaty. At the meeting, the Minister focused his attention on an objective investigation of the January events. “The tragic events that took place at the beginning of the year in the city of Almaty claimed the lives of people and caused enormous damage to the city’s economy. Law enforcement agencies have a great responsibility in terms of investigating criminal and administrative cases, establishing the causes of the events that occurred. There is a certain workload of the courts of Almaty in terms of considering incoming cases”” Kanat Musin said. The Minister also noted that the Ministry of Justice will always provide the necessary number of forensic experts to continue working in this direction. To date, 1,354 forensic examinations have been scheduled. 103 experts were involved in this work, 70 of them local, 33 were seconded. In turn, representatives of law enforcement agencies received answers to their questions regarding enforcement proceedings, forensic activities and others.
