A meeting of the Technical Committee of the CADAP program for the Republic of Kazakhstan was held

On February 25, 2022, employees of the Forensic Examinations Centre took part in a meeting of the Technical Committee of the CADAP program for the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the Head of the CADAP 7 program Ernest Robello made a report on the results of the needs assessment of national partners, and announced conclusions and recommendations for the implementation of the main goals of the Program.

The participants noted the urgency of the issue of countering the spread of new psychoactive substances, in connection with which the main direction of cooperation within the framework of the Program implementation is largely determined by reducing the demand for new psychoactive substances and countering their illegal distribution.

Representatives of the departments participating in the meeting supported the main objectives of the program, strategic plans and key measures for their implementation.
