On September 26, 2022, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held an international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the judicial authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic: "30 years of service to justice and law".

The conference was devoted to discussing the history of the formation of justice bodies in Kazakhstan, the contribution and prospects for further development of the areas of rule-making, ensuring the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations, as well as maintaining the rule of law in the country.

The event was attended by: deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other state bodies, representatives of the scientific community.

Among the invited guests of honor, former Ministers of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministers of Justice of neighboring countries, representatives of international organizations, state bodies, domestic and foreign scientific and educational organizations from Belarus, Germany, Mongolia, Russia, Turkmenistan made congratulatory speeches and reports.

The plenary session was opened by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan – K.S. Musin. In his speech, Kanat Sergeevich thanked all the invited participants of the event, employees of justice bodies and subordinate organizations for the high-quality performance of their duties, noting the role and importance of the Ministry's activities in the development of New Kazakhstan.

The event was moderated by Vice-Minister of Justice – A.K. Mukanova, Director of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Law, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan – R.K. Sarpekov.

Honorary representatives of legal science M.K. Suleimenov, E.A. Ongarbayev, I.Sh. Borchashvili, M.Ch. Kogamov, R.T. Nurtaev, S.I. Klimkin and others made presentations on topical issues in the field of rulemaking.

Foreign guests represented by the directors of the National Center for Legislation and Legal Research of the Republic of Belarus V.D. Ipatov, the Scientific Center for Legal Information under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation Y.N. Datsenko in their reports shared their experience and prospects for the development of legislation in the field of rulemaking, as well as the digital legal space.

During the discussion and exchange of views, the participants of the conference discussed the most pressing issues of theoretical and practical significance in various fields of legal science.

According to the results of the conference, relevant recommendations were developed, it is planned to publish a special issue of the journal "Bulletin of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
