On October 6 of this year, the leadership of the Department for the Organization of Expert Activities and the Center for Forensic Examinations of the Ministry of Justice participated in a joint meeting with the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the format of a round table to discuss problematic issues in the appointment and production of forensic examinations.
Representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Republican Chamber of Forensic Experts, the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as heads of territorial police departments and forensic institutes took part in the work in an online format.
A constructive dialogue took place, during which the participants discussed possible ways to solve problems that arise in practice when appointing and conducting forensic examinations, including issues of improving the effectiveness of interaction between law enforcement officers and forensic experts.
